After repeated requests from the Buchenwald Main Camp, the SS Commando Penig compiled several prisoners lists and sent them to Weimar. One of these was rejected due to various deficiencies. For example, it still contained the old prisoner numbers from the Ravensbrück concentration camp. On the prisoner list, which can be viewed here, you will find the women listed with their new prisoner numbers, their first and last names, their maiden names, their date and place of birth, and their occupation. This list was compiled on February 17, 1945.
